Megan McGill is an Associate Attorney of Schell & Oglesby, LLC. She is a native-Tennessean and has lived in the Nashville area since she graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in arts for political science in 2015. Megan obtained her Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law in 2018.
Upon graduating from Belmont Law, Megan served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Judges Joseph A. Woodruff and Michael W. Binkley of the 21st Judicial District in Williamson County, Tennessee. After leaving her law clerk position, she practiced commercial and residential construction law with Schulman, Leroy, & Bennett, PC in Nashville, Tennessee. As she has always had a passion specifically for family law, however, Megan shifted her practice to focus on divorce and juvenile court matters in 2020. In her current practice, Megan continues to concentrate on divorce and child custody issues.
During her practice, Megan has maintained one goal – to zealously advocate for each client. She values her client relationships and tailors her services to each case. When she is not in the office, she can be found hiking with her dogs, cooking, staying active, or spending time with her friends and family.
